この製品は、アメリカ海軍の上級下士官に支給されていたCPOシャツの復刻モデルです。CPOとは「Chief Petty Officers」を意味します。CPOシャツの初期モデルのクラシックなディテールを再現しつつも、現代的なシルエット・素材・縫製を取り入れ、街着として洗練されたファッショナブルなデザインにアレンジされています。ヘビーウェイトウールフランネルでつくられたこのシャツはミリタリー・ワーク・アメカジスタイルにも合うアイテムです。サイズはオリジナルのオーバーサイズから、タウンユース用のファッションアイテムとしてご着用いただけますように現代風サイズに改良されています。しっかりとしたウールフランネル生地が使用されていますので、ライトアウター(シャツジャケット)として春や秋に羽織ったり、重ね着用としてや、冬のジャケットのインナーとしても着用できたりと、幅広く、長い期間使い回せるアイテムになっています。

衿は台衿付きのレギュラーカラーのフルオープンシャツタイプで、スソはカーブ状にカットされたラウンドボトム(ラウンドテール)です。

素材はウールを圧縮した毛羽だったフランネル生地です。目が詰まったウールフランネル生地で保温性と耐久性を確保します。着込むほどに生地が馴染み風合いを増していきます。ミリタリーらしい無骨な表情ながら、しなやかな着心地も併せ持つ生地です。

フロントは6つボタンによるフルオープン開閉式です。ボタンにはアンカーマークが刻印された尿素ボタンが使用されています。ボタンホールは縦方向に穴が開けられています。右身頃フロント前立て裏はコットツイル生地で補強が施されています。

左胸には、ボタン留めシングルポイントフラップポケットが設けられています。

負荷のかかる肩部分にはもう1枚生地をあてた補強ショルダーヨーク仕様です。

袖口はカフスリット付きの1つボタンカフスが採用されています(※左袖のカフは、右袖のカフとは逆向き付けられていますが不良品ではございません。これはオリジナル同様の復刻ディテールです)。

両脇裾にはマチが付き、空縫いすると出てくる「空環」の、2本針(ダブルステッチ)の撚り糸が垂れ下がっています。昔ながらのワークシャツの縫製手法を踏襲したディティールです。

Material : 100% wool. Made of heavyweight wool-flannel unlined single ply fabric. It is perfect to wear alone or as a base layer with a outerwear.

Collar Type : Regular collar with collar stand for crisper appearance.

Placket type : 6 buttons on front opening. Full-button closure (Front placket, Front button closure) with vertical button holes. The buttons are two-hole urea buttons with engraved anchor. Inside front-right-side placket lined with cotton twill for extra strength.

Bottom hem type : Rounded shirttails with side gussets. Curved hem ( shirt tail ). The shirttail scallop edge are finished with a gusset, and double twisted thread run off from the shirttail scallop edge, a classic detail found on authentic work shirts.

Storage : Single chest flap pockets with button.

Cuffs Type : The sleeve openings are finished with one button cuff with sleeve placket(cuff slits). So you can take the jacket off and put it on easily. * Counter-rotated left cuff (this isn't an error - this is how a 1st-Model CPO shirt should be).

Yoke type : Straight yoke. A shirt yoke is made from two layers of fabric for durability. Reinforced double-layers shoulder yoke for greater durability at at stress points.

Back of the Shirt : No pleats.
