この製品は、ビンテージアメリカンミリタリーウェア(ミリタリーユーティリティワークシャツ)をモチーフに、オールドアメリカンミリタリースタイルの要素を随所に再現しつつも、バズリクソンズによってタウンユース用にアレンジされたバズリクソンズオリジナルスペックモデルの半袖シャツです。バズリクソンズオリジナルのカジュアルながらも上品なヘビーウェイトヘリンボーンツイル生地、現代的なシルエット、縫製を取り入れ、カジュアルのテイストをプラスした街着として洗練されたファッショナブルなデザインに仕上げられています。

サイズは日本サイズです。シルエットはスリム過ぎずルーズすぎない適度な身幅で、着丈がやや短めにされた現代的なモダンフィットスタイルに再構築され、スタイリッシュにご着用いただけますようにデザインされています。

スタイルは、台衿付きのレギュラーカラーのフロントボタンフルオープンタイプで、スソはカーブ状にカットされたラウンドボトム(ラウンドテール)です。

素材はコットン100%のしっかりとした肉厚感のあるヘリンボーンツイル生地です。ヘリンボーンとは魚のニシンの骨という意味で織り目が似ているところからこのようにいわれます。高密度に織られ強度に優れているヘビーウェイトヘリンボーンツイル生地で、ミリタリーワーク素材らしい頑強で無骨な表情ながら、しなやか着心地も併せ持つ生地です。

この製品には、ワンウォッシュ加工がかけられています。そのため、程よいオールド感とヴィンテージ感が生まれ、クラシックな印象を与えるシャツに仕上げられています。また、ワンウォッシュですでに生地の縮みが発生しているので、洗濯後の縮みが少なくサイズ感が安定しているのも利点のひとつです。着用と洗濯を繰り返すごとに生地がさらに馴染み、風合いが増していきます。

負荷のかかる肩部分にはもう1枚生地をあてたショルダーヨーク仕様です。

両胸には、ボタン留めフラップポケットが設けられています。ポケット上部の角はバータック(カンヌキ)で強度が増されています。左胸ポケットのフラップにはペン差し穴が付きます。

フロントは7つボタンによるフルオープン開閉式です。ボタンにはマットな光沢感のあるシンプルな二つ穴の尿素ボタンが使用されています。

主要部分の縫製は、2本針巻き縫いのビンテージワークシャツの仕様を再現した王道的なつくりです。

両脇裾にはマチが付き、空縫いすると出てくる「空環」の、2本針(ダブルステッチ)の撚り糸が垂れ下がっています。昔ながらのワークシャツの縫製手法を踏襲したディティールです。

This short sleeve shirt is made in Japan and produced by Buzz Rickson ( Buzz Ricksons Buzz Rickson's ) from Toyo Enterprises. The Buzz Rickson label, a division of Toyo Enterprise in Japan, is famous around the world for its expertly-crafted authentic military clothing. This product is made especially for Japanese market and made for Japanese clothing sizes. Body pattern is designed and inspired by the US military utility work shirts, but this item is outfitted with the original details of Buzz Rickson's brand in a contemporary approach. And made of a 100% cotton heavy-duty herringbone Twill (HBT) fabric milled in Japan. This herringbone shirt is a contemporary take on the classic military shirts. With the inspiration from classic military shirts, this button up shirt has been re-designed for a fashion purpose. The beauty of this piece is the balance of classic construction and modern updates from Buzz Rickson. Fabric Type : Made of a 100% cooton, non-stretch, heavyweight, tightly woven herringbone twill fabric that is high density and extremely durable. It combines the toughness and the natural softness for comfort. Visually, the fabric resembles the backbone structure of herring (like a zig-zag), hence the name. This shirt is washed once for the fashionable vintage feel and look. And this shirt is washed once so there is no need to worry about shrinkage. And the fabric will also develop a comfortable feeling and continue to get softer and cozier through repeated wear.

Placket type : 7 buttons on front opening. Full-button closure (Front placket, Front button closure). Buttons are 2-hole urea buttons.

Collar Type : Regular collar with collar stand for crisper appearance.

Pocket : Classically-styled double chest flap pockets with button. Pencil slot on left pocket flap. The upper pocket corners are bar tacked for extra strength.

Bottom hem type : Curved hem ( shirt tail ). The shirttail scallop edge are finished with a gusset, and double twisted thread run off from the shirttail scallop edge.

Yoke type : Straight yoke. A shirt yoke is made from two layers of fabric for durability. Reinforced double-layers shoulder yoke for greater durability at at stress points.

Back of the shirt : No pleats for easy ironing and clean lines.
