素材はコットン100%の太い番手を用いて織られたミディアムウェイトツイルチェック生地です。経糸2色×緯糸2色のシンプルでクラシカルなチェック柄で、毛羽が最小限に抑えられ、ごくわずかに起毛されたソフトな質感が特徴の生地です。丈夫でありながら、しなやかな着心地をも併せ持つ生地です。春や秋にTシャツの上に羽織ったり、冬のインナーとしても着用できたりと、幅広く、長い期間使い回せるアイテムになっています。

この製品には、ワンウォッシュ加工がかけられています。そのため生地には程よいオールド感とヴィンテージ感が生まれ、クラシックな印象を与えるシャツに仕上げられています。また、ワンウォッシュですでに生地の縮みが発生しているので、洗濯後の縮みが少なくサイズ感が安定しているのも利点のひとつです。

フロントは6つボタンによるフルオープン開閉式です。釦には4つ穴のプラスチック皿ボタンが使用されています。ボタンホールは縦方向に穴が開けられています。

負荷のかかるショルダー部分にはもう1枚生地をあてたヨーク仕様です。

両胸にはボタン留めパッチポケット(フラップ無し)が設けられています。

袖口はスリーブプラケット(カフスリット)付きの1つボタンカフスが採用されています。

主要部分の縫製は、2本針(ダブルテッチ)巻き縫いのビンテージワークシャツの仕様を再現した頑強なつくりです。

両脇裾にはマチが付き、空縫いすると出てくる「空環」の、二本針(ダブルステッチ)の撚り糸が垂れ下がっています。昔ながらのワークシャツの縫製手法を踏襲したディティールです。

シュガーケーンが資料として保管するヴィンテージをベースに、2本針巻き縫いの縫製や各部の仕様など、1950～60年代のディテールを再現した王道的なチェックシャツです。このシャツの生地には、1960年代のPILGRIM製のワークシャツから起こした経糸2色×緯糸2色のシンプルなチェック生地が使用されています。生産の効率化のため時代の流れとともに省略されてしまった2本針巻き縫いの縫製仕様、背ヨークや、補強の脇の力布が特徴です。

This men's casual long-sleeve plaid button-up shirt is made in Japan by Sugar Cane, a workwear brand under Toyo Enterprises. Drawing inspiration from vintage work shirts of the 1950s to 1960s, it is made from 100% cotton twill weave plaid fabric. The shirt combines a timeless design, classic details, and newly developed fabric by Sugar Cane, making it perfect for casual wear. The fabric is medium-weight, non-stretch, and offers a durable yet soft feel with a slightly brushed surface (minimal brushing). The plaid pattern is achieved by weaving two color yarns in the warp and two color yarns in the weft, creating a classic plaid design. Additionally, as part of the finishing process, it is pre-washed (also known as one-wash) to minimize shrinkage and comfortable texture. Additionally, as part of the finishing process, the garment is pre-washed (also known as one-wash) to minimize shrinkage and give it a slightly faded look.

Types of garment closure (Placket type) : A classic full-button closure along the front, secured with six urea dish buttons. The front placket includes vertical buttonholes.

Collar Type : Regular collar with collar stand (collar band) for crisper appearance.

Bottom hem type : Rounded shirttails with side gussets. Curved hem (shirt tail). Side gussets on the hem, and double twisted threads-runnoff that extend and hang from the side seams on the hem. A gusset is a piece of fabric which adds durability to a section of a garment. For this shirt, gussets are seen at the point where the side seams meet the hem. The chainstitch runoff extending (double twisted threads which hang from the side seam on hem). This detail can be seen on rare vintage shirts as well as modern reproductions.

Pocket : Classically-styled two chest patch pockets with button closure(no flaps).

Yoke type : Slightly curved back yoke. A shirt yoke is made from two layers of fabric for durability. Reinforced double-layers shoulder yoke for greater durability at stress points.

Back of the Shirt : No pleats for easy ironing and clean lines.
